I gave in on a long car ride and gave him a mostly eaten apple to pacify him. He enjoyed it immensely until he feel asleep.

What an exciting walk today!

We turned the corner and to our surprise…

we found a turtle on the sidewalk.  So we put him in the stroller basket and gave him a ride to the pond.  He was about 1 block from his home. 

 

We parked to watch him head down towards the water…

He was slow at first but then he took off like a rabbit.  He was definitely the highlight of our morning.

We spent the holiday weekend at my parents cottage.  We had a great time hanging out with all the Dombrowski’s.  We celebrated birthdays, played in the lake, and enjoyed fireworks at night.  Eli slept through all of the fireworks!
